Begin your journey into the practice of yoga at this 3 day beginner-focussed yoga retreat, facilitated by Bodhi Khaya’s resident yoga teachers Olivia Moon and Belinda van der Merwe. Whether you are brand new to the mat or have attended a few classes and want some more specific guidance, this retreat is for you.
What we have found is that so many people miss out on the benefits of yoga as they believe they are not flexible enough or ‘can’t touch their toes’. But the practice of yoga is so much more than downward facing dog, it is a way of being that allows us to find a sense of much needed balance on a mind, body and soul level. It is a way to guide us into the present moment, breath by breath, we begin again.
During this retreat we will guide you through the foundations of yoga, both on a practical and philosophical level, so that you will leave the weekend feeling inspired to establish your own daily practice, more confident to attend group classes and with a sense of rejuvenation after a weekend spent connecting with yourself in nature.
