Yoga Bio & Philosophy
Resident yoga teacher at Bodhi Khaya Nature Retreat, Olivia believes yoga is about finding the essential balance between yin and yang, sun and moon, masculine and feminine that so easily gets lost in our modern world. By finding balance on our mat, we are able to step into the world more whole, centered and present, and this is the gift that yoga gives us.
She is a 550 hour teacher certified in Hatha, Vinyasa flow, Kundalini Yoga and Yin yoga and incorporates all these styles in her teachings. Olivia believes that our breath is our connection to the universe and learning to breathe through mindful breathing practices and pranayama breathwork we are able to widen the gateway, which is why she incorporates breathwork into every class.
Yoga is a personal practice done in a group setting, rather than just a group exercise class. It is a way to connect with our bodies and the many layers of self, and the more intuitively we practice, the deeper this connection develops. Olivia follows the mantra of “meet yourself where you’re at”, as only from this place of stillness, presence and self acceptance can we truly flourish and grow.
Yin Yoga
By giving ourselves permission to surrender to stillness, we are able to awaken to deep healing within. This is the gift of Yin Yoga.
I offer restful, restorative yin yoga for all levels. Gentle stretches, a guided meditation, pillows for props and a calming playlist allow for an hour of complete surrender on your mat.

Yoga Flow & Moon Yoga
As we flow movement with breath on the four corners of our mat, we are not only practicing asana, but we are also embodying the flow of life. Breathing though discomfort, finding peace within the process, learning and growing and flowing towards the highest expression of ourself. This is the practice of yoga, on and off the mat.
Feel good vinyasa-style flow, suitable for all levels. 60 minutes of mindful movement, an upbeat playlist and good vibes all round!⠀

MOON YOGA
Moon yoga is a style of yoga that invokes the feminine moon-like qualities of our nature. It encourages openness, softness, receptivity and allows us to better connect with our intuition through gentle flowing movement. ⠀
Moon Yoga is 60 minutes of moving meditation that incorporates Hatha Vinyasa, with intuitive, flowing and expressive movements.
